No sticky jar
The shell keeps the honey exactly where it belongs until it reaches your cup. Nothing drips down the side, nothing dries on the counter.
Handmade in Bruges
One capsule holds one perfect dose of pure honey. Drop it in your tea, watch it melt, and put the sticky spoon away for good.
Why a capsule
The shell keeps the honey exactly where it belongs until it reaches your cup. Nothing drips down the side, nothing dries on the counter.
Every capsule carries the same amount of honey, so your tea tastes the same on Monday as it did on Sunday. No guessing with a spoon.
Coat pocket, desk drawer, hotel room, hiking bag. Honey that travels without a glass jar and without a lid to lose.
Three seconds, start to finish
One capsule into hot tea, coffee or warm milk.
The shell gives way and the honey blooms through the cup.
Evenly sweet, all the way to the bottom of the cup.
Pick your honey
Same jar, same clean drop into your cup. One honey from the far side of the world, one that only exists for three weeks a year, and one that never sets.
The Melipona is a stingless bee the Maya have kept for more than a thousand years, the oldest bee species people have ever managed. Colonies are tiny and give a fraction of what a normal hive does, which is why this honey has always been treated as something rare. It is thinner than you expect, bright and gently tart.
Lemon trees flower for barely three weeks in spring, so hives have to be standing in the grove at exactly the right moment or the harvest is gone for a year. What comes back is pale, perfumed like the blossom itself, and finishes with a clean twist of citrus peel.
Black locust honey from the forests of Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria. It carries more fructose than most honeys, so it stays liquid and clear for far longer instead of turning grainy in the jar, which is exactly what a capsule needs. Mild, almost colourless, and the easy one to start with.
Side by side
Runny and bright, with a sour edge that cuts through green tea instead of drowning it.
Floral first, then a clean citrus-peel finish. The one people notice in a cup of black tea.
Barely there in the best way. Sweetens without changing what you are drinking.
The jar
€15,00
Hexagonal glass with a gold lid, filled by hand in Bruges. Every jar holds one honey. You choose which one when you order. Our first batch sold out at the launch and the next one is being filled right now.
The waitlist hears first when a new batch is ready. Nothing else.
Min-S BV · Brugge
Leonard Minjauw and Nathan Soreyn started Honey-Z as a student company in Bruges. The idea was small and stubborn. Honey beats sugar on almost every count except one: it makes a mess of everything it touches.
So they sealed it. Every jar since has been filled by hand, in small batches, in the same city where the first one was.

Why it matters
Bees do the hard part. Every jar we sell is a small vote for the hives, the beekeepers and the flowering fields they depend on, and one less spoonful of refined sugar in a cup.

The small print, in plain words
A note from us: this is a plain-language starting point, not a lawyer’s work. Have it checked and add your VAT number before you take real orders.
